Lisa A. Ditchek Psy.D.

I have been a licensed, practicing Clinical Psychologist in Illinois since 1996. I earned my Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 1986, followed by my Doctor of Psychology degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, Chicago, IL in 1994.

My clinical internship, where I specialized in Child and Adolescent Psychology and Adult Psychology was completed in 1991, at The Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center, Chicago. In addition, I received specialized training in pediatric medical psychology at The University of Illinois Medical Center, Psychosocial Clinic, Chicago. I also obtained advanced training at The Family Institute of Chicago, Northwestern University. After earning my doctorate degree, I completed post-doctoral training at Interaction Dynamics, Chicago, a private group practice. After licensure as Clinical Psychologist, I remained with Interaction Dynamics as Director of Clinical Training. While there, I also received certification in Divorce Mediation. I opened my private practice in the Chicagoland area in 1998.

My past and current professional experience consists of treating children, adolescents, and adults with a wide variety of psychological and medical issues ranging from mild to severe. My areas of expertise include treating individuals, families, and couples. In addition, I have served as a consultant in various school systems and as an expert witness in court.
